To begin set an intention. Simply intend that you will heal the issue you are working on. Feel free to ask for help from other sources, e.g., angels, guides etc and then follow the steps outlined below. Please see illustration of points used. Name the problem or feeling, clearly, directly and truthfully. Be Specific!Rate the emotional intensity on a scale of 0-10. Tap on the Karate chop Point on the side of the hand where you would give someone a 'karate chop'. Then tap on the following points while repeating a reminder phrase that describes the problem. For example, "this headache" or "this anger". TH EB SE UE UN CH CB UA WTH - Top of the HeadEB - Eyebrow SE - Side of the Eye UE - Under the Eye UN - Under the Chin CN - Chin CB - Collar bone UA - Under Arm W - Wrist (tap both wrists together) (refer to diagram below) While tapping please keep focused on your problem.This completes one round. Take a few deep breaths and drink some water. Breathing and water help energy to flow.Tune back in to the problem/feeling and re-evaluate your intensity on the 0-10 scale. Is it gone? Great! Is it less? Do another round of EFT then check your intensity again. Have you shifted to a new problem or feeling?Start the process again with your new problem/feeling beginning with the intensity rating. Is it the same? Don't panic! Go back and check if your statement accurately describes the problem/feeling. Revise statement if needed. Sometimes there is a stronger problem/emotion beneath the one you are working on.
